The Camera System is a core mechanic of the FNAF Mod. It allows players to monitor animatronic movements throughout the restaurant from the safety of the office.
How It Works
The camera system consists of:
- Security Camera blocks placed around the restaurant
- A Camera Monitor in the player's office
- A Power supply that drains while cameras are active
Using Cameras
- Right-click the Camera Monitor block in the office
- A camera feed UI opens showing the current camera view
- Click camera buttons on the map to switch between views
- Press E or right-click again to close the monitor

While viewing cameras, you cannot see your immediate surroundings. Animatronics can approach the office while you're distracted!

Power Usage
Using cameras drains power at 1% per 5 seconds (on Night 1). This rate increases on later nights.
Tip
Don't keep cameras open constantly. Check periodically, then close the monitor to conserve power. Focus on CAM 1C (Pirate Cove) and CAM 4B (East Hall Corner) — those are the most critical.
Warning
If power runs out, cameras shut down and the office goes dark. Freddy will play his music box, and you have a limited time before he attacks.
