Getting Started
Welcome to the Bunch o' Sculk wiki! This guide will help you get started with the add-on and understand its core features.
What is Bunch o' Sculk?
Bunch o' Sculk is a Bedrock Edition add-on that massively expands Minecraft's Sculk content. It adds new hostile mobs with unique mechanics, a boss fight, an armor set, throwable items, tameable plushies, decorative blocks, and an entire sculk overgrow system — all centered around the mysterious Deep Dark biome.
Before You Start
Make sure you have Minecraft Bedrock Edition version 1.20.60 or higher installed. Older versions may not support all features.
Key Features
- New Sculk Mobs — Sculk Mites, Sculk Lurkers, Sculklings, and Sculkling Witches all use movement-based detection
- Boss Fight — The Sculk Sentry is a 300 HP boss with melee attacks, ranged projectiles, and knockback roars
- Sculkcite Gear — Full armor set and sword crafted from sculkcite materials
- Sculk Overgrow — Consume a Sculk Essence Flask to gain powerful buffs with the overgrow mechanic
- Core Destruction — Destroy Sculk Cores to clear entire sculk zones via chain reactions
- Plushies — Craftable Plush Mites, Plush Lurkers, and a tameable Plush Warden companion
- New Blocks — Sculk Jukebox, Sculk Traps, Sculkcite Shells, Dead Sculk, and more
- Custom Tools — Sculk Radar to detect sculk mobs, Sculk Balls to restore dead sculk
Quick Start
- Install the add-on (see Installation)
- Travel to a Deep Dark biome
- Sneak! — Sculk mobs detect movement, not proximity
- Mine Sculkcite Shell blocks for Sculkcite Plates
- Craft a Sculk Radar to locate sculk entities
- Collect Sculkcite Teeth from mob drops
- Craft the Sculkcite Sword and armor set

Movement Detection
All sculk mobs in this addon detect movement, not proximity. Standing still or sneaking makes you invisible to them. Wear Soft Sculk Boots to walk freely without triggering detection.
