Installation

This guide covers how to install the Bunch o' Sculk add-on on Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.20.60 or higher
  • Experimental gameplay toggles enabled (see below)

Download

Download the latest .mcpack file from the project page.

Info

The add-on comes as a single .mcpack file that includes both the behavior pack and resource pack.

Installation Steps

Windows 10/11

  1. Double-click the downloaded .mcpack file
  2. Minecraft will open and import the pack automatically
  3. You'll see a success message when the import is complete

Mobile (iOS / Android)

  1. Tap the downloaded .mcpack file
  2. Select "Open with Minecraft"
  3. Wait for the import to complete

Console (Xbox / PlayStation / Switch)

Warning

Console players need to use Realms or transfer worlds from a mobile/PC device. Direct .mcpack installation is not supported on consoles.

Enabling the Add-On

  1. Create a new world or edit an existing one
  2. Go to Add-Ons in the world settings
  3. Find Bunch o' Sculk under "Available Packs"
  4. Tap/click the pack to activate it
  5. Enable these Experimental Toggles:
    • Holiday Creator Features
    • Custom Biomes
    • Molang Features

Verifying Installation

Once in-game, you can verify the add-on is working by:

  • Opening your inventory — you should see new Sculk items in the creative menu
  • Traveling to a Deep Dark biome — new mobs should spawn
  • Crafting a Sculk Radar (check the Sculk Radar page for the recipe)
